Interactive Fiction Some of the novels that students study in Mr. Desilets' classes are all-text computer-based interactive stories. Some students study Arthur: the Quest for Excalibur by Bob Bates, a graceful tale based on the Arthurian legends. Others read Brian Moriarty's Wishbringer, an elegantly plotted fantasy that features vivid characters and imaginative settings. The most prominent World-Wide Web site on educational uses of interactive fiction is based on work with students at John Glenn Middle School. The site is called Teaching and Learning With Interactive Fiction.
