Assignments Assignments, of course, vary widely from course to course and from week to week. In a general way, the letters to parents and students that begin each school year describe the kinds of assignments students should expect. Here are the letters for A recurring assignment in some of Mr. Desilets' classes is the book report. Another recurring assignment consists of supplementary reading. About once a week, usually on Monday, each student in Mr. Desilets classes receives a complete, individual grade report, showing all graded assignments, the student's actual grades, and the student's average.
